If you or someone you know has ever had a cat, you know that they tend to express feelings in unique ways. Now, there are two types of cats: those that want to be by your side 24/7, and those that want nothing to do with their 'hooman.' This is a list about the first kind of cat — the kind that constantly wants to be on your lap. Here are a handful of ways these types of cats, particularly my own one-year-old tabby, shows those feelings:
1. Sitting on your laptop and hitting the pause/play button, especially when you're watching Netflix.
If this isn't honestly the most annoying thing that EVERYcat does, then you can take my cat.
2. Pooping on your bed.
Okay..so this might just be my cat. One time. Four. Feet. Away. From. The. Litter. Box.
3. Tearing open the bag of new dry kibble while you're not home.
Yes, I know you like food, but you're going to make yourself sick...
4. Also eating an entire bag of treats when you're out trying to have a good time.
THAT'S NOT GOOD FOR YOUR LITTLE STOMACH. And now you get no dinner.
5. Waking you up at 5AM and proceeding to drool on you continuously until you either let him get under the covers or give him food.
I'm not sure why my cat insists on drooling every time he gets any sort of attention...c'est la vie.
6. Finally, the most important one: sleeping with their face next to yours, curled up, and asking for belly rubs.
Okay, this one isn't sobad. Yeah, I'll give you this one.
Cats are...special, but we love them anyway, and they sure know how to share those feelings.
