The Red List.

That 70's Show is a cult classic that not only made us laugh, but also gave us some sound advice. While Steven Hyde may come off as the groups sarcastic comedian, he also showed us that life happens. He comes from a broken home of two parents with serious issues, yet he overcame adversity and became a cunning sarcastic man. Here's a list of six reasons Steven relates to us all.

1.) His ability to be all our our spirit animals.

Being angry at the world is a feeling we all know all to well. Whether it be the frustration of living out everyday life, or maybe it's the way that one person looked at you on the elevator. Some days simply waking up can piss you off. Maybe we can all be a bit more upfront with the fact that we are always angry.

2.) His ability to speak our mind on what gifts people should expect from broke people like us.

In this world people demand we buy them fancy gifts to show how much we care. Working class people do the best they can for gifts. To be honest I would be happy with a trip to McDonald's and a few solid hours of talking. The world may turn a bit better with a few less materialistic assholes.

3.) He never lets anyone see him down.

Steven, like us all, internalizes his problems. For the most part you will never even know that deep down he is hurting. He covers his "weak" emotions with his strongest attribute, anger.

4.) He's blunt in all the right ways.

Steven never shy's away from telling people like it is. If he thinks you are a hoe, he just may tell you that you have a future in porno. If he thinks you are weak he may call you a pansy. He didn't even spare his love Jackie from his sharp tongue. He is living proof that a little raw honesty isn't horrible.

5.) He has common sense.

Just like most of you reading, Steven has street smarts. He knows how to engage with people whom he doesn't even like. He knows what is appropriate, and knows when and where he can use his brash attitude. He knows to respect people, and also knows his boundaries. By far the most intelligent of the group.

6.) He is by far the most loyal human to those he loves.

Without a doubt Hyde was loyal to his friends and family. He took up for his crazy father when he randomly decided to try and be a parent again. Although Steven got his heart broken, he still has the love for his dad. There is no question that he and Eric will go down as the best friend duo on earth. They both had mutual love and respect for each other. They had their falling outs and arguments, but that could never permanently break their bond. Steven puts his all into those who show him compassion. To be fair, isn't that all of us?

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
