During times like these, small businesses tend to take a hit. Sometimes all they need is to know that they have the support of the community around them. Here's a few ways you can do so.
1. Refer a friend
One way you can support a small business is by helping them expand their base. Just invite a friend if you think they'd be interested in the products the small business sells.
2. Follow, like, and comment on their social medias
When you comment your opinions to a small business owner, they do a little happy dance when they find out someone likes their products. A simple "Cute!" or "Love this!" goes a long way.
3. Respect their time
If you ask them to make you something, be sure that you're actually going to pay for the product. Some products can be very tedious and take hours to make. Don't waste their time if you have no intentions of buying the product.
4. Leave a review
A nice review goes a long way. Not only do reviews help the business, but also potential customers.
5. Post a picture
If you've shopped with that business before, post a picture of your product and shout them out for it!
6. Buy something!
Lastly, another way you can support a small business is by buying a product from them.
