6 Ways to Remember Your Multivitamin Every Day

.

We all know that we need to get our daily dose of vitamins and minerals. But not all of us are able to get the full amounts on our own.

To enhance your overall wellbeing, you will need to be mindful of fueling your body with the right nutrients to thrive. This is why taking a multivitamin is a great form of insurance when it comes to making sure we do not become depleted.

But yet for many of us, taking those daily popular supplements become challenging to remember. With the distractions of work, family, and other responsibilities, we often find ourselves forgetting to take our multivitamins.

You are not alone if you find yourself in this predicament. In fact, most of us are guilty of forgetting. The one to truly pay the price for this is our health, especially when we do not get the right amount of nutrients into our bodies.

Why We Need Multivitamins

It is important to remember to take your multivitamin for a range of reasons. Designed to have all the essentials in just one supplement, you can choose from a variety of flavors and forms. The right one for you will really depend on what you discuss with your doctor and what your own individual health journey is.

In general, multivitamins contain a collection of the essentials that your body needs. But there are of course some subtleties between brands. The best multivitamins are made with clean ingredients that are traceable and supported by science.

Even better, you can get your multivitamins based on your individual stage of life. What an 18-year-old boy needs will be much different compared to what a 60-year-old woman needs. But there is the perfect multivitamin out there for everyone.

How to Remember Your Daily Dose

After you find the right multivitamin for you, the trick lies in remembering to actually take it.

This is where we are coming in to help. We have rounded up the top ways to remember so you get your daily dose of goodness.

1. Set an Alarm

We always have our phones on us—at least most of us do. This is why a great way to set a reminder for yourself is on your phone. Create a daily alarm and label it as “TAKE YOUR MULTIVITAMIN”. Schedule the alarm to go off at a time when you know you are routinely home and can remember to grab one when it goes off.

You can also add it to your daily to-do list on your computer so that it also becomes top of mind when you start out each morning.

2. Put An Extra Bottle in Your Bag

While most of us are creatures of routine, we can all occasionally find ourselves getting out of our daily rhythm. So a great way to ensure that you always have your multivitamins regardless of where you are is by adding an extra bottle in your backpack or purse. That way, when your daily reminder goes off and you are not home you can just grab one from your bag.

3. Add it to Your Meal

Another great way to ensure you never miss a beat with your multivitamin is to take it with a meal. We suggest breakfast but lunch works too. The reason for this is that most of us will never forget to eat. So, if you put your multivitamin out next to your bowl of oatmeal of cup of coffee, you will remember to take it as you start your day.

4. Ask for a Reminder

Sometimes we just need a little reminder from a friend or partner. If you find yourself constantly struggling to remember, ask someone you see on a regular basis to give you that verbal reminder when they see you. It can even become a bit of a competition as to if you can remember to take it before they ask.

5. Use an App

The world runs on apps, so there are apps that can literally remind you to take your vitamins. If you need to take it to the next level of technology, then consider downloading one of these apps onto your phone so that you have a double reminder whenever you need it.

6. Leave One at Your Desk

The majority of us have a job. This means the majority of us have a desk as well. A great way to always remember to take your multivitamin is to also leave a. bottle on your desk. That way when you sit down to open your emails for the day, you will have a visual reminder of ensuring you have taken your multivitamin too.

Conclusion

These six solutions are sure to help you remember to take your multivitamin and live a life of wellness.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
