I recently treated myself to a Hulu subscription. I was skeptical at first—not knowing how much I would actually watch it or if it would be worth the money. However, one month in, I have to say it is one of the best decisions I’ve made in recent history. The main reason for this being because I am reliving my childhood. They offer an absolute profusion of shows from the 90’s and 2000’s! Here are a few of my personal classics available via subscription:
1.The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius
The fact that this show was only around for three seasons, is depressing. But then somehow when you realize you have unlimited access to those few seasons on Hulu, everything is just fine.
2. Hey Arnold!
Right now is the perfect time to rewatch, or even watch for the first time, Hey Arnold! Partially because it was a great show, but mainlybecause there are talks that there may be a revival movie.
3. The Wild Thornberry’s
This was by far my favorite show as a child. Even though I’m the least outdoorsy person ever, Eliza roaming around with her family seemed so appealing. And really the main reason I loved her so—the fact that she could talk to animals.
4. Rugrats
I’ve been binge watching this for about the past week. I forgot how much I loved this show. It had the perfect dynamics with a little something for everyone.
5. Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends
This show was amazing. I can still remember coming home from school and it was always on as soon as I got off of the bus. I always wanted to visit Foster’s Home. Hell, I still do.
6. Dexter’s Laboratory
Yet another Cartoon Network hit. I’m not sure if I loved the show more be
cause it was just so good or if I was more in it because of the way Dexter said ‘laboratory.’
