Oh summer. Summer means no finals, no all-nighters and no mental breakdowns. So how are we expected to be able to let go of our favorite season so easily? These six ways may prepare you for this fall, but they also might make saying goodbye to this summer a bit easier.

1. Deny. Deny. Deny.

If you don't accept the summer is ending, maybe it won't happen? Let’s all try this one and find out.

    2. Squeeze everything into the last two weeks.

Disney, a Dodger game and the beach in one day with three different sets of friends? Sounds like a slow day, you better fill up your schedule with everyone you want to see before you leave so that you don't leave anyone out.

    3. Post throw back Thursday pics on all your social media.

In doing so, you and all your friends can stroll down memory lane together.

    4. Think about the future.

Think about all the new memories you’ll make at school this fall and all your college friends you haven't seen all summer. Taco Bell at 2:00 a.m. just isn't the same without them.

    5. Give yourself something to look forward to.

A shopping spree? A new hair cut? Blue Bell Ice Cream by the gallon? Whatever your thing is tell yourself you’ll get it as soon as summer is over.

    6. Start counting down the days till next summer.

    (see #5).

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
