2017 is going to be filled with lots of new things that I am very excited for I normally don't game a whole lot, but when the new Final Fantasy came out it opened a door to me just wanting to keep playing. So here are some of the video games I'm ready to give a try this year.

1. For Honor

Release date: 2/14/2017. It's a game that takes place in a medieval time setting. It features a style of combat system described as "The Art of Battle" by the developers and allows players to play the roles of historical soldiers such as medieval knights, samurai, and .vikings within a Medieval fantasy setting. You can watch a trailer for it here.

2. Horizon Zero Dawn

Okay 1st off I'm a sucker for a game with a female main lead. 2nd She looks like a real bad ass. Release date 2/28/2017, it will be out for PlayStation only it's an action role-playing game. The story follows and revolves around Aloy, a hunter, and archer who lives in a world overrun by robots. She goes out to find all the things that kept her locked up her whole life and the game opens up a whole world for you to explore and play through.Check out the trailer for it here.

3. Zelda Breath of the wild

Release date March of 2017. I nearly peed myself when I saw this trailer, no really I going to go dump 300 bucks so I can buy the new switch just so I can play this game. This is the 19th installment of the Legend of Zelda games. The story is set in Hyrule and follows amnesiac protagonist Link, who awakens from a 100-year slumber to a mysterious voice that guides him to defeat Calamity Ganon. I need this game haha. Check out the trailer here.

4. Tekken 7

Release date June of 2017. Not going to lie I'm really upset I have to wait till summer for this game. My brother and I played these games all the time it was one of the few games he would play with me. It's a one on one battle game that is bringing back veterans from the King of Iron Fist tournament alongside some good looking newcomers. Check out the trailer here.

5. Last Of Us Part Two

so part of me is ready for this game, then the other part of me is like nope, not ready at all because part one hurt me right in the feels so much and I don't know if I want that again. The release date for this isn't out yet and it continues the storyline from part one that came out in 2013 following around Joel and Ellie five years after the original game in the post-outbreak world. There's more to talk about but I can't unless you've played part one because I might ruin it. Watch the trailer here.

6. Final Fantasy 7 remake

The Release date for this has yet to be let out yet, but I'm excited for this, though I might be waiting longer than just this year (I hope not fingers crossed) the original came out in 2007 and it's an action role play game.it's going to retell the original story following mercenary Cloud Strife as he and eco-terrorist group AVALANCHE battle against the corrupt Shinra megacorporation, and the rogue former Shinra soldier Sephiroth. Here is the trailer for the remake.

SO I have no idea what I'm going to do while I play the whole waiting game for all of these games and let alone what I'm going to play and beat first when they do come out. I can give up weeks of life up to play video games, right?

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.

Syllabus Week As Told By Kourtney Kardashian

Feeling Lost During Syllabus Week? You're Not Alone!

Kourtney Kardashian

Winter break is over, we're all back at our respective colleges, and the first week of classes is underway. This is a little bit how that week tends to go.

The professor starts to go over something more than the syllabus

You get homework assigned on the first day of class

There are multiple group projects on the syllabus

You learn attendance is mandatory and will be taken every class

Professor starts chatting about their personal life and what inspired them to teach this class

Participation is mandatory and you have to play "icebreaker games"

Everybody is going out because its 'syllabus week' but you're laying in bed watching Grey's Anatomy

Looking outside anytime past 8 PM every night of this week

Nobody actually has any idea what's happening this entire week

Syllabus week is over and you realize you actually have to try now...or not

Now it's time to get back into the REAL swing of things. Second semester is really here and we all have to deal with it.

panera bread

Whether you specialized in ringing people up or preparing the food, if you worked at Panera Bread it holds a special place in your heart. Here are some signs that you worked at Panera in high school.

1. You own so many pairs of khaki pants you don’t even know what to do with them

Definitely the worst part about working at Panera was the uniform and having someone cute come in. Please don’t look at me in my hat.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.
