6 Verses For An Anxious Soul In College
Honest Weight Loss

The first week of school is tough. Especially when you are trying to figure out classes, make friends and find out a schedule that works for you so you aren't laying on the ground dying and crying. Anxiety can be a butt and sometimes you just need some confirmation that everything will be okay. Everything works itself out in time but until then, here are seven verses that will ease your anxiety.

1. Proverbs 3:5-6,"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

Trusting in the Lord and his plan, although you may not know what it is, may be scary. However, it pays to know that God has you and will not leave you alone and drowning.

2. Colossians 3:15, "Let the Peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body were called to peace. And be thankful."

If peace is at the forefront of your mind and heart, then it will be easy to love graciously. Just keep this verse as a reminder.

3. Proverbs 12:25, "Anxiety weighs down the heart, but a kind word cheers it up"

Watch a fun movie. Hang out with friends. Take a break. Find something to lift your spirits while you stressed. It will pay off in the long run.

4. Psalm 23:4, " Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and staff, they comfort me.

Some days will feel like literal and actual hell, and that is fact. Stress and Anxiety seem as though they overshadow the peace that God provides. You just have to remember to be bold and confident because God will provide for you in your darkest hour.

5. Romans 8:38-39, "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

This verse speaks volumes for itself and is one of my prayers for you.

6. Matthew 17:20, "He replied, "Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,'and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."

Have faith in yourself. Have faith in your year. Have faith in God and know that you can move mountains.

College and life, in general, can get very overwhelming but standing strong in your faith and yourself can make a huge difference. These verses are my prayers for you and remember, you got this!

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

As you walk away, you will wonder if they will ever speak to you again, but don't worry, there's a good chance that you will make some great friends on your floor!

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.
