There are many extremely popular shows on Netflix such as Orange is The New Black, Grey's Anatomy, and Gossip Girl. I myself am a Netflix binge-watcher and have always kept my eye out for any shows to watch even if I never heard of them or they are less popular. I have watched a few and highly recommend for people to give these shows a chance, I promise you will not regret it. Here is a list of the most underrated shows on Netflix.

1. Drop Dead Diva

This fantastic show is about a model who dies and gets sent into the body of a plus-size brilliant lawyer. This show has everything in it, romance, action, law, drama, you name it! It is 6 seasons and I will definitely put this on your next binge-watch list.

2. It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia

This hilarious show is actually not that well known, but it is definitely a more raunchy-stupid type of comedy. I find this show absolutely hilarious and vulgar and I definitely think if you are in the mood to watching something funny this show is certainly for you! Watch a group of guys and a girl who run a bar do stupid things and be terrible people!

3. Crazy Ex Girlfriend

This hilarious comedy is definitely worth the watch! Want to watch a grown woman who is a lawyer move across the country just to force love upon her ex-boyfriend from summer camp and who dreams of her life as a musical? then this show is for you! You will fall in love with this light comedy just like I did.

4. The Returned

This show is about people who have passed away years ago coming back to life. It is extremely mysterious and thrilling. The show got canceled after one season because there wasn't enough viewers, but thankfully Netflix uploaded the season. It is worth watching just because the storyline is amazing and will have you on your toes.

5. The Fall

This exciting and thrilling show is about a serial killer who has his own family but loves to kill only women with brown hair, and a determined detective trying to capture him but keeps on failing. It is a very interesting show that no many people know about, but if you are interested in law enforcement and murder, this a must watch.

6. New Girl

This funny sitcom is about a woman who breaks up with her boyfriend and tries to look for a new place to live. She ends up getting an apartment and living with 3 and sometimes 4 other guys. During the show she experiences relationships and brotherhood. This is a very good quirky series and I would suggest watching it if you are in the mood for a light interesting comedy.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
