NBC TV series finale

Obviously one of the reasons a person is your friend is because you relate to them on some level. However, every friend is a little unique and different. Of course, we love them all... but for very different reasons. Here is a list of the 6 different types of friends we come across in our lifetime. To make it even better, told by the cast of the best show ever, Friends.

1. The Joey

We all have the friend that says some things that absolutely blow you away with stupidity. Even though this friend may not be the most "wisdomous", they have the biggest heart and the best advice. The Joey loves to eat anything and everything, and surely doesn't share food. Another great quality about this friend is that even though they may encounter some obstacles throughout the way, they never give up on their dreams.

2. The Ross

Just about the opposite of the Joey, The Ross is the nerd of the group. This friend strives to make sure that he is always right and on top. A serious passion for his/her profession is important, yet they still like to have fun. The Ross is the most sensitive one of your friends and tends to take everything to heart, however, they aren't afraid to speak their mind. This friend especially makes sure that they are always there for you in times of need, which can be the best quality in a friend.

3. The Chandler

The Chandler is the hilarious friend that will have you on the floor dying of laughter. If you need a friend that says the most absurd things at the worst times this is the friend for you. The Chandler suppresses his/her real feelings in exchange for funny jokes/remarks. This friend constantly takes 'L's, yet still tries to have a positive outlook on their life. Despite the constant jokes, The Chandler is one of the most loyal and caring friends you will ever have.

4. The Phoebe

The most unique and quirky friend of the group is The Phoebe. This friend is extremely superstitious and always trying to do good in the world. They are very free spirited and easy to talk to. The Phoebe loves to try new things and be spontaneous. He/she doesn't care what other people think about her. This friend has the best stories about their life and it is always so interesting listening to every new experience (or old).

5. The Monica

The Monica is the backbone of your friend group. This friend is organized, sturdy, confident, and tries to be the leader of the group. He/she loves to take charge and be involved in everyone's lives. There is a place for everything and if anything is out of place there will be chaos. However, This person is the biggest lover you will ever meet and has those motherly instincts we all hope to have someday.

6. The Rachel

The Rachel is the friend that has grown the most since you've met them. They have come so far and grown into such an amazing, awesome, loving person that they may not have been before you knew them. This person is determined and works incredibly hard. This friend is the one you go to for comfort and also the person you go to just if you want to hang around the house. The Rachel seeks comfort in his/her closest friends, yet is always the one to cheer people up and brighten the room.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
