6 Tips To Staying Motivated After Midterms

So midterms are finally over (YAY!) but now your burnt out and just want the semester to be over forever. Unfortunatley, this is only the halfway mark and finals are slowly creeping closer. Before you lose your mind check out these tips to stay motivated until winter break!

1. Plan Your Day

Pretty planners are a great way to stay on top of everything. Having school supplies you enjoy using is going to make you use them more often! Plan out your entire day in a planner and you'll never miss another meeting or assignment.

2. Go On A Shopping Spree

Don't spend all your savings but do invest in yourself. The second half of the semester is a great chance to revamp your style and have a fresh start.

3. Improve Your Diet

Eating healthier will improve your skin, your immune system, and your mindset on life. Skip the junk and fuel your body with nutritious foods that will give you lasting energy.

4. Get More Rest

With a busy schedule comes a lack of sleep, but your body needs to recharge- especially after midterm exams. Do yourself a favor and stay in instead of partying and feel the difference the next day.

5. Read New Books

Self help books are a great way to stay motivated but if they're not your thing try any book that inspires you. My favorite self help book is You Are A Badass and #GirlBoss. My friend, Tim Mason's, new book A Principality of Bullets is available on Amazon now!

6. Do Your Work Where You're Motivated

I am more productive when I take my work with me to a coffee shop. The caffeine and the quaint atmosphere create a comfortable working environment. It's also keeps you from feeling down because your surrounded by other people who are also doing work alone!

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
