Powerpuff Girls were a vital part of my childhood. I loved all the girls: Blossom, Bubbles but I loved Buttercup the best. She had this edge that I liked. I remember being able to relate to her moods, and I always thought that she was the best out of the three. Here are six times we can totally relate to Buttercup!

1. How quick our mood can go from happy to angry in a split second.

Sometimes I could be smiling, and then in a second I could be angry or annoyed. I have no idea why I'm angry or annoyed sometimes, but I just know that I am so Buttercup.

2. When your friend says or does something stupid.

Now, Buttercup is very bold. Sometimes my friends would say or do something stupid. It'd would be so ridiculous that I'd want to smack some sense into them. I don't, however. I imagine it, though. I'm Buttercup in my head.

3. Sorry Beyonce, but I do not wake up flawless.

I wake up just like Buttercup: groggy and upset. Waking up from wonderful sleep, sucks.

4. When a guy catcalls you.

I have no problem with being called a princess, but I'm actually a Queen. However, I hate being called a princess from random and strange men. It's creepy.

5. When you're mad at bae, but you've thought of a way to get back at him.

That's all me. I'll sit on my bed frowning, and then a light bulb would go off on in my head and suddenly a weird smile appears, because bae is going to regret all the troubles he's costed me.

6. When you're mad at bae, but then he decides to do something sweet.

Aw shucks, do you see how quick that frown turns into a cute smile. That's totally me.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

For many undergraduates across the nation, the home stretch has begun. Only one more semester remains in our undergraduate career. Oh, the places we will go! For the majority of college seniors, this is simultaneously the best and worst year out of the past four and here’s why.

1. The classes you are taking are actually difficult.

A schedule full of easy pottery throwing and film courses is merely a myth on the average campus. With all of those prerequisites for the upper-level courses and the never-ending battle you fight each year during registration for limited class seats, senior year brings with it the ability to register for the final courses you need to fulfill your major. Yet, these are not the easy entry level courses. These are the comprehensive, end of major, capstone courses designed to apply the knowledge from all your previous courses, usually in the form of an extensive research paper or engaged learning project. The upside is you actually probably really enjoy these classes but alas there is no room for slackers here.
