"Brooke Davis is going to change the world someday."

One Tree Hill without Brooke Davis is like having peanut butter without the jelly, summer without the sun or The Beatles without John Lennon (oh wait). With her famous side smirk, hilariously snide responses and many a drunken plunders, Brooke Davis stole the hearts of dedicated OTH fans for 9 seasons, growing from the topless Tree Hill High Cheer Captain to a powerhouse business woman who is dedicated to her family and friends. Though she was faced with almost every challenge a person could possibly think of (yes, psycho murderers AND a freak car accident), no one can forget the memorable moments of B. Davis and her epic wisdom.

But just in case you did...

Who Can Forget Her Epic Pep Talk to Not Only Peyton, But to all of OTH's Viewers:

Peyton's not the only one to have a tough day. Brooke speaks to every one who has ever faced hardship in life, and is able to recognize that when life kicks you down you have to be tougher. She's not afraid to sugar coat the fact that life isn't always fair or easy, but she reminds us all that it's not impossible to overcome the hard times when you channel your inner warrior.

That Time She Called Out Patriarchal Roles Placed On A Woman's Image:

A-MEN. I'm pretty sure every female OTH viewer screamed "hallelujah" when Brooke finally said what was on everyone's mind! Say it a little bit louder for the people in the back, Brooke.

Let's Not Forget When She Totally Tackled the Concept of Insecurity:

Insecurity: everyone faces it sometime or another, even the queen of Tree Hill: B. Davis. I think the most important part of this scene is that Brooke does what a lot of us (including myself) are afraid to do, and that is recognizing that insecurity up front. Once we own our insecurities, they no longer define who we are.

Then When She Taught Us All to Never Sell Ourselves Short:

Ah, Brooke you've done it yet again. Brooke continually shows her OTH viewers to never compromise when it comes to our dreams (whether it be directing a movie, or becoming a killer NBA star). She urges all of us to stick to our guns, even if life knocks you down or tempts you to give up.

And How Self Love is a Good Thing:

Regardless of the guy or the number of heartbreaks, Brooke Davis is always phenomenally herself and proud of that. Even when Brooke's actions may be a little unorthodox, Brooke continues to be who she is and I can totally respect her for it. At the end of the day, take a note from the B. Davis playbook and love yourself, because life's too short to be someone else.

How Time and Time Again, She Continues To Believe in Herself and Life's Endless Possibilities Regardless of the MANY Hardships Placed Before Her:

Post Lucas-Peyton love triangle, dysfunctional family endeavors, a lost million dollar company, being attacked by not one, but TWO, psychos and so much more, Brooke Davis continues on, always. She takes everything in stride, learns from it, and grows as a person because she refuses to let hardship take away her ability to believe. And hey, it seems to have worked... have you seen Julian?

So when in doubt, binge watch some OTH, and channel your inner B. Davis. You've got this.

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

"I don't want to do things. I want to do not things."

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.
