We all think it and we probably say it too.

6 Thoughts You Have While Sitting In Class
Huffington Post

Every college student knows that while sitting through a 3-hour class it is pretty much impossible to stay focused on the lecture material the whole time. So where are our minds almost guaranteed to wander?

1. "I Hope No One Can Hear My Stomach Growling"

Day dreaming about tacos or pancakes may seem stupid but as a college student you can go a while without food- thus causing your mind to wander. Plus who wants to actually think about the structures of a cell when you can be thinking about bigger and better things like pie or pizza.

2. "A Beach Sounds Nice Right About Now"

Man, wouldn't it be nice to just hop on a plane to somewhere tropical and just sit on a beach with an ice cold drink in hand? But that isn't the reality... instead, I'm listening to a lecture on the War of 1812.

3. "Maybe I'll Just Drop Out"

So how much money does a stripper make again? You cannot deny that you have thought about it at least once. Maybe not that exact thought but definitely something along those lines.

4." I Have about 90 Other Things I Could Be Doing Right Now (most of which productive)"

Laundry, homework for this class, homework for another class, grocery shopping, cleaning my room, doing a project, writing a paper, reading, catching up on a Netflix show, sleeping, eating, LITERALLY ANYTHING ELSE.

5. "I Wish I Was A Billionaire And Didn't Need A College Degree"

How nice would it be to skip this whole "do work" phase to get a degree that means I will have to work for the next 40 years.... ahh if only.

6. "This really isn't that bad. I really am blessed to be here"

Sometimes in all the hustle and bustle of our busy lives we, can get caught up in the negatives. I think it's important that we reflect on just how lucky we are to be sitting in a college classroom receiving an education each and every day. Yes it, may not be easy but some people would kill to have- remember that!

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
