Easter is a time of rejoice and happiness as we celebrate Jesus' resurrection from the dead. It is a time filled with church, family, and love.

1. You wake up in the morning to your Easter basket filled with Peeps, eggs filled with jelly beans, and little gifts. As you get older, you can replace this with an egg filled with cash -- hey, I ain't complaining!

2. Your mom makes you put on some ridiculous pastel outfit to go to church because it just screams, "Easter! God! Prayer! I'm a good person, I swear!" Like, come on, Mom -- Jesus knows this ain't my style!

3. You finally get to your aunt and uncles house after a long hour of pretending to look holy in church, and the first thing you see is all the food laid out. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for giving us a reason to stuff our faces all day with food in your honor.

4. Your crazy cousin that everyone tries to avoid at family parties walks in the door and you realize that you might have to talk to them. I know it's Easter and all, and I have to pretend that I am a good person, but I really cannot put up with cousin Edith and her crap today.

5. Your parents make you sit at the kid's table even though you are a sophomore in college. Seriously, I just wrote a thesis on quantum physics and now I am sitting at a table with a bunch of five-year-olds. At least they think I am a lot cooler than I actually am because I'm in college, right?!

6. Your little cousin tries telling you that he knows the Easter Bunny isn't real and you yell at him because he is wrong. Like, how else was there an easter egg filled with goodies waiting for me in the morning? The Easter Bunny is real. You just have to believe!
