Thankfully if you’re a fan of a pretty decent National Hockey League team, and that team makes it to the playoffs, you get to watch roughly nine months of hockey out of the twelve months of the year. But honestly, those three offseason months are pure agony on a person. The thoughts that cross your mind not only while waiting for the draft but also for the season to start can drive you mad.
1. Is it October yet?
The season starts in October, and if you’re anything like me, I get super pumped about the preseason games because they give you some insight on newer players.
2. They traded who?
The salary cap can be a total deal breaker for a team. Seriously, it never fails to disappoint fans in some way.
3. Who is this new guy?
Looking up all the stats on a new player in hopes that they didn’t seriously just totally screw themselves over. Which, honestly, they probably did.
4. Everyone is healthy, right?
We're all praying all the players are staring off the season healthy, and hoping the star players are starting out healthy, or you’ll probably have a heart attack.
5. Better watch out for that team.
There are always a few teams that are suppose to be the best, and They are always branded as most likely to make it to the playoffs.
6. When can I go to a game?
I love going to hockey games. The price is worth the experience every time. Even if you aren't a hockey fan, you should definitely go to a game!
…Is it October yet?
