As we grow older so do our parents and grandparents, so do as much as you can with them while you all still can and make the most of it.

1. Have a game night

Nothing is better than hanging out and getting very competitive over a game of Uno, Monopoly, or Phase 10.

2. Build a gingerbread house

Make it a little more fun and get mini gingerbread houses and have a contest on who can make the best one.

3. Wear Christmas pajamas and watch Christmas movies.

This is also a super cute photo op to guarantee many Instagram likes and Facebook comments.

4. Learn to cook

This is a big one for me. My mom is letting me experiment in the kitchen a lot over this break. I hope it goes well.

5. Go to a candle light service

This is one of my all time favorites. Every Christmas Eve we go to my church and sing a-cappella religious Christmas songs. We have gone for as long as I can remember, and it gives me chills every year.

6. Go see Christmas lights

Christmas lights are beautiful, and most every city has very pretty displays for everyone to enjoy.
