Well friends.. it's that time of the year again which makes for some stirred up excitement and great Thanksgiving stuffing. As summer has drawn to a close (even somewhat for Texas, shocker, I know) there are quite a few things to smile about.
1. Pumpkin Patches
From the beautiful scenery to the adorable pumpkin patch pictures, what's not to love?!
2. Flannels & Boots
Also known as "flannel season," these puppies are great for not only keeping you warm (if you get the right kind) but also keeping you fashionably up to date with the current Fall demands. However, we can't forget the boots. Uggs, Riding Boots, and Bean Boots. Let's face it though, you can never have too many flannels or well..shoes in general.
3. Pumpkin Spice LattesBet you didn't see that one coming at all huh? Who am I kidding, that's probably the first thing that comes to your mind when the word "Fall" is even mentioned. No need to be ashamed though because believe it or not, most of the population is just as obsessed with these miracle workers as you are.
4. Four Words: Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas
One minute you're wearing a Batman custom and as soon as that clock strikes 12, that Christmas tree is up and ready to go, you're in your fuzzy (and itchy, just admit it) reindeer sweater with a cup of hot chocolate in your hands, some tacky Christmas socks on and a movie playing. No shame. None.
5. Thanksgiving Facebook and Instagram Posts
Ahhh, yes, the time to be thankful suddenly goes into full drive once you're sitting around that table with your loved ones and the turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans, and gravy are all put out on the table.
6. Bonfires
There's nothing like those late nights where you're gathered with your friends around a pit of burning wood with the warmth from the fire blowing in your face, attempting to roast a marshmallow that eventually catches on fire, all while trying not to choke on all the smoke that just so happens to be blowing only in your direction. Hey, at least that s'mores still tasted great though.
