This is it, fresh beginnings because it is FINALLY 2017! It's time to face a new semester, new classes, new professors and a newfound drive to excel in college classes, clubs and your social life. This is the semester to focus and be driven. This is our semester and here are 6 things you should expect!

1. A Lot Of Coffee

If you are anything like me, you are an avid coffee drinker and need it to function. My first day of this semester consisted of a cup of coffee from the Sweet Shop, the greatest way to kick off the semester in my opinion. So grab your coffee and get to studying because you're going to need it.

2. Landing that Summer Internship.

This is your time to shine. The work that you have done during Fall semester has all led up to this. What are you planning to do this summer? Head over to your Career Center to get your resume over looked and practice interviews to make sure you stand out to the employer that is hiring for internships.

3. Down Time.

Finally, that answer none of us would think we would ever hear while in college. Now that fall is over, so is football season and the tailgating has ended allowing us to somewhat have a more peaceful relaxing weekend. Use this time now to have a movie day/night with your girls or maybe study a little more for those new classes you just got.

4. Basketball Season.

Even though football season is over though, that doesn't mean it is the end for sports. Basketball is coming and there is no other way to show how proud you are for your school even more than going to a basketball game and cheering for the team.

5. Work on that Summer Body.

New Year, New You am I right? This is the time to finally put that New Years Resolution you say you're going to do into action. Start off the year by eating healthy and working out 5-6 days out of the week. This year you will finally be ready for summer the way you want to be ready for it.

6. Learn How to do Your Taxes.

For all of you workers out there in the career world, it is the best time of the year, Tax Return season. This is very important to learn not just for now but for the future. Download Turbo Tax and grab your W-2 forms from your employer, it is time to get that refund we all have been waiting for.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
