6 Things to Do When You're Sick

For when the wintertime sicknesses come quickly when you least expect it.

If you're anything like me, when you're sick you have no idea what to do with yourself. In order to heal and utilize this time when you don't feel your best, try these ideas:

1. Drink tea!

The tea (especially black tea) can help your body fight off infection. It also keeps you hydrated and the warm temperature of the tea can help soothe your sore throat.

2. Take a Warm Bath

If you add things like aromatherapeutic bath salts (like eucalyptus or peppermint), it can decongest your sinuses.

3. Listen to Some Relaxing Music

It'll calm you down and give you something else to think about besides being sick!

4. Take a Nap

If you're too tired to do anything, just take a nap.

5. Relax

You can't get better if you aren't relaxing and resting.

6. Go on a Netflix binge

For when you are out of ideas and want to kill time.
