Has summer felt like a breeze? Finishing last minute summer homework is not much of an end to summer. These fun activities will make the end of summer a blast!

1. Try escape the room.


This activity is perfect for team bonding or just with your friends. Last Minute Escape has rooms in Wayne, Morristown, Montclair and Toms River. This activity is for people who enjoy a challenge and problem solving. You have exactly one hour to find the key and escape the room. This a complex yet fun activity that will really make you think. 2. Try a sushi burrito.


This is for all the sushi lovers out there. This unique creation can be found at Inspiration Roll, with stores located in Morristown, Summit and Caldwell. You can create your own burrito or you can also order a number of different dishes. This brings sushi to a whole other level. Prices can vary with extra toppings but the standard price of one sushi burrito is $9. You don't always have to travel to New York City to try unique foods.

3. Try rolled ice cream.

Rolled ice cream is also one of the biggest food trends of the summer. This fascinating dessert can be found right down the road from Inspiration Roll at Taro. This is a perfect dessert on a hot summer night. The rolled up ice cream originated from Thai-inspired ice cream rolls. Liquid cream is placed upon an advanced cool plate which turns the liquid into ice cream in under two minutes.

4. Take a trip to Sky Zone.


Sky Zone is an indoor trampoline complex -- one of the coolest and bounciest place to go. With several locations in New Jersey, this is a perfect activity to enjoy with family and friends. It's great exercise and serious fun. Games like dodge ball and basketball are all held at these complexes. Prices are determined by the amount of time spent at Sky Zone.

5. Visit the Turtle Back Zoo.


Take a day to visit the Turtle Back Zoo located in West Orange. Avoid traveling to the busy Bronx Zoo and enjoy a more convenient way to visit animals. This is a great trip for kids and families during the summer. The wide variety of animals will keep you entertained throughout your whole trip. Prices range from Adults: $14.00, children (ages 2 to 12): $11.00, seniors 62+: $11.00, children 23 months and under: free, and rental safari double strollers: $7.00.

6. Play a few rounds at Monster Mini Golf.


Mini golf is kid-friendly and perfect for families. As an 18 hole glow-in-the-dark course, Monster Mini Golf has six locations in New Jersey. Fun for all ages, this is a great way to stay cool during the last hot days of summer while also having fun. Prices range from children at $8.99 to adults at $9.99.
