The life of a music major can be a tough one. There are so many things going on and it feel like your head is spinning. Being a music major IS NOT easy, so here are six things all music majors are tired of hearing.

1. "Wow! Being a music major must be a lot of fun."

Hahahahahahahaha yeah maybe for the first 5 minutes.

2. "So do you just sing all day?"

That's basically like asking a farmer if they drive their tractor around all day. Yeah that's part of it but that's definitely not even close to all of it.

3. "All of your classes must be easy, right?"

HA. HAHA. Yeah, theory is a breeze. *Nervous laughter.

4. "You don't have to take a math class?? LUCKY!"

While this may be different at some colleges, it is true. No math for most of us. But trust me, we make up for it with theory, and lessons, and practicing, and conducting, and methods, and the list goes on..

5. "Oh you're a music major??? SING FOR ME!"

How about no?

6. "You do realize you're going into a dying field?" Or.. "There are like no jobs for that."

*eye rolls into infinity"
