While every girl wants to be different and have their own style, there are some things that are just so universal everyone has them. In college, I have noticed a pattern in clothing among every girl, me included. Here are seven things (most) every girl has in her wardrobe.
1. The infamous Norts
These are so comfy and a must have. Wear them with whatever and they are fine. Not to mention they have every color you could ever imagine. While they can sometimes be a little pricey for shorts, you can almost always find them on sale somewhere.
2. Black leggings, and 50 of them.
We are all guilty of this. We own way too many pairs of the exact same color. However, we all have one pair that is just better than the rest. No one else can see a difference, but we can!
3. Oversized T-shirts
Yes, we do have pants on. I have heard everyone on this earth tell me how stupid this trend is. My response-- it is comfy so I don't care. The great thing about this is that you can't tell if we have a six pack going on or if we have a food baby from the cookout tray we just ate.
4. Chacos
The. Comfiest. Shoes. Ever. I don't care if you want to be different, these are hands down the best shoes I own. Chacos are every college girls best friend. Who wants to walk around campus with hurting feet?
5. Go-to Pullover
Patagonia, Truegrit, Nike, Goodwill. Wherever you got yours from, you know the one I am talking about. Its the one that you always reach for. It has a special-ness about it. You feel like it has magic powers, or maybe it is just really comfy. Either way, you rock it whenever you can.
6. Flannels
These can be worn 50 different ways. No matter how you wear them, there is an undeniable love for them. I go to Goodwill every fall to stock up on new ones. (Because they are just better if they are worn out). These are an essential staple to the college girls closet.
So while you may lack a few of these, or you wear these every day, every girl can relate to this. No matter who you are or what style you rock, these are just a must have for the college experience.
