6 Things We're Thankful For On The Internet

Thanksgiving is this week. It's a time when we pause to reflect on what we're thankful for. Family, friends, pets, we are all extremely thankful for you. However, there are some other things that we're thankful for as well.

1. Funny dog videos

How can you not laugh?? I think I've officially made the decision to get a Husky solely based on this video.

2. Ryan Gosling memes

Hey Ryan, we appreciate you and your sense of humor.

3. Tasty videos

Do not, I repeat, do not, watch these videos when you're hungry. It's pure torture. Besides this, we're thankful that someone else on the internet has the creativity to think up these beautiful recipes and make them available to the rest of us who can only think of making pasta with shaker cheese for dinner.

4. Google

Not only does Google have funny tricks like "do a barrel role" or "anti-gravity," but it knows literally everything. You don't have to ask your mom the random questions that pop into your head anymore, because Google is faster and more reliable.

5. Quizlet

Nothing is better when you don't feel like applying yourself to your school work and you realize Quizlet has your back. #QuizLit

6. Odyssey

There's a relatable article from Odyssey for everyone who visits the site. Odyssey is everything from hilarious to solemn. Whatever mood you're in or type of person you are, Odyssey content can relate to you.

We all are thankful for our family and friends, but we can't forget about our favorite aspects about internet this holiday season either.

My birthday has never been my favorite holiday. I've found that I'm more excited to celebrate my friends' and family members' birthdays more than my own. I don't like being the center of attention, so I usually celebrate over dinner with a small group of family and friends. This way, I can enjoy myself naturally without feeling like I have to entertain everyone and make sure they are satisfied. In the past when I've had large parties, I was so nervous that people weren't perfectly content that I didn't enjoy myself at my own celebration.
