For all of us that are in college, we have experienced studying for a test one too many times. And each time we study, we tell ourselves that we will study efficiently and not be stressed.
The joke is that it never happens and we end up going through these 6 stages:
1. The motivated stage.
You start by telling yourself you have so much time and you make a schedule of all the sections you're going to go through.
2. The "I have time, I'll start tomorrow" stage.
You definitely will not start tomorrow or the day after if we are being truthful.
3. The procrastination stage.
Finding excuses to still not study for your test.
4. The stress stage.
While you did this to yourself, you realize you have about one night left to study for this midterm and now you do not know where to start.
5. The "OK it's fine, I don't need sleep" stage.
You order your Starbucks at 1 a.m. with some extra shots and get to WORK.
6. The acceptance stage.
You just accept that you're about to fail this test and promise this is the last time you'll slack off. Until you do it all over again for the next test :')
