If you're unsure whether or not it's the holiday season in Delco, then look out for these warning signs:
1. Everyone goes to Linvilla.
Starting with Halloween to get pumpkins and apple cider to going to get Christmas trees and hot chocolate, everyone pretty much goes to Linvilla at least once during the Holiday season. Linvilla is just festive and definitely a Delco holiday tradition.
2. Every store is decorated for Christmas before Thanksgiving.
Pretty sure this is everywhere, but you’ll be sure to know Christmas is coming.
3. All the supermarkets are mobbed.
Good luck finding parking in Acme or at Giant. Wawa is even more crowded than usual as well.
4. The traffic on Baltimore pike is worse.
Maybe this is just me, but I’ve noticed Baltimore Pike is even more crowded than usual. So plan on adding an extra 20 minutes to your route.
5. Santa is at the Springfield Mall.
You know the holidays are coming up when Santa shows up to the Springfield Mall.
6. All you hear is Christmas music, literally everywhere you go.
From the mall, to the supermarkets, to the gas stations. You’ll probably hear Rudolf the rednose reindeer at least twice a day.
