6 Shows You Need To Watch This Fall
Women's Day

Fall is finally here and with it the best time of the year. No, I'm not talking about the over excess use of pumpkin spice in just about everything or Saturday Night Football in Death Valley. (Which is basically Christmas) I'm talking about Fall Television the guilty pleasure that you just can't miss out on after your long hard working day. Here are 6 shows you need to watch this fall to make your week just a bit more entertaining.

1. How To Get Away With Murder

My guilty pleasure is finally back and I couldn't be more thankful. Annalise Keating is a brilliant defense lawyer, pushing everyone's to their limits on how far they will go to protect themselves. Thoroughly excited that Season 3 started with a bang, first episode and someone is already dead? Its gonna be a good season. If you haven't seen How To Get Away With Murder the first 2 seasons are on Netflix.

2.Grey's Anatomy

I'm still on Season 11 to be honest, but I plan on catching up and watching Season 13 ASAP! Grey's Anatomy is one of the best shows to ever come from abc. This show makes you want to become a doctor, but then you have to remind yourself that you have to go through the years of medical school to become one. And you realize you are just really not about that life. So you stick to your earning your communications degree.

WARNING: THIS SHOW WILL LEAVE YOU HEARTBROKEN PROCEED WITH EXTREME CAUTION.

3. Empire

This show left off with a bang and came back with a even bigger bang to start Season 3 off. I'm not going to reveal anything for those who have yet to start Empire, but if you aren't watching I highly recommend you start. It will become your new guilty pleasure that you just can't get enough of.

4. Designated Survivor

Right when I saw the commercial trailer for this show I knew that I would be setting the DVR for it every week to watch over and over. First off the series stars Kiefer Sutherland and frankly anything with Kiefer in it is destined to be pure good TV. Have you seen 24? This show is about a low ranking member of the presidential cabinet who finds himself suddenly promoted as the next president of the United States, after a attack on the capital leaves the cabinet and most of congress dead. 10/10 would recommend, and yes I am the 10 that would recommend!

5. Prison Break

Honestly I only started watching this show because my mom use to watch it when I was younger and I found Wentworth Miller so attractive. But even though I started watching because of these reasons it is the best TV thriller that I have ever watch. Miller, aka Michael Scofield on the show, a brilliant mind breaks into jail to free his brother on death row and in the process prove that he is innocent. The show ended in 2009, but FOX is bringing it back for a fifth season after seven years set to premier January 1st, 2017. And though technically this show will not be premiering until the next year it doesn't hurt to mark your calendars folks!

6. New Girl

I saved the best for last because New Girl is my absolutely my favorite show to watch. The characters in the show are so dynamic and relatable that you just can't help but fall in love with it. After a VERY rough breakup Jess moves in with three guys and with her best friend Cece form a highly dysfunctional family, but its a dysfunctional family you wouldn't mind being apart of. New Girl comes on FOX every Tuesday, but if you aren't on season 5 just quite yet, Netflix has all four seasons ready to go for you!

I hope you take my recommendations and watch these shows, because honestly I have very good taste in television. But I know this is the internet, you can't believe everything you read, so I guess you will just have to watch and see.

The first two weeks of classes have come to an end and they have been anything BUT easy. It seems like life has been serving up more bad than good and in all honesty, the only thing you want to do is crawl under your covers and hide from the rest of the world.

Although this seems like the best solution, it is also the easy way out. Take it from the girl who took basically a whole week off from her life because she just could not handle everything that was being thrown at her. This caused her to feel extremely lonely and even more stressed out for being behind in classes that JUST began.

11 Things We Learned From Brooke Davis

"What's more important? What we become or how we become it?"

Brooke Davis

"She was fiercely independent, Brooke Davis. Brilliant, and beautiful, and brave. In two years she had grown more than anyone I had ever known. Brooke Davis is going to change the world someday, and I'm not sure she even knows it." - Lucas Scott, An Unkindness of Ravens

Brooke Davis of the hit show One Tree Hill was the it girl - she had it all, or so we thought. She started out as a stuck-up, shallow, spoiled, head cheerleader who didn't have her life together. She slept around a lot and loved to party - sounds like your typical high school teenager right? Wrong. B. Davis had so much more to offer. Caring, loyal, and outspoken, she has taught us some valuable lessons throughout the 9 seasons that OTH was on the air:

We all have a person, and when that person makes some new friends, we tend to forget all the great things that can come out of it. Never forget how special they are to you and why you are best friends.
