We thought we would never see the day. The light at the end of the tunnel. You've finally crawled out from your stack of books and empty coffee cups to emerge into that stress-free place known as Christmas break. So, if you find yourself with some time on your hands and no idea what to do with it here are a list of shows to get ya through. I didn't include the classics like Scandal, Grey's Anatomy, The Office or One Tree Hill because I shouldn't have to tell you to watch those. Here are a few that might slide under the radar, but deserve a serious round of applause.

1. This Is Us (Hulu)

This one is coming in hot at number one. All it takes is a Hulu subscription to spiral into the abyss of good ole family ties, cast members that are easy on the eyes , laughs, and cries... and that you will.. like.. a lot. There's only one season so far, so no reason you can't finish it in one day right?

2. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (Netflix)

Let's switch it up. This show will make you cry just as hard but this time from laughter. Only two seasons on Netflix but I promise it will rival anything you ever thought was funny. It's a bingeing, LOL'ing, "Are You Still Watching" screen conjuring hoot. Featuring a 20 something-year-old that's been underground so long she still thinks she's a preteen. Hard to explain, but just trust me... it's worth it. Two words- Titus Andromedon.

3. Pitch (Hulu)

My feminist heart singssss. Pitch features the story of the first not only female but African American female to play in the major leagues. WOW. Does this show give ya a good laugh, dose of sports jargon, and a dash of romance here and there. But above all, GIRL POWER af.

4. Conviction (Hulu)

Meet Hayes Morrison former first daughter and amazing lawyer. With a sparkling wit, genius brain, trouble maker spirit, piercing history with her ex turned D.A., and her team of damaged, yet brilliant case crackers she's unstoppable. Conviction centers around a unit that frees the good guys wrongfully convicted as the bad guys. Juicy and intriguing it draws you in and tugs the heartstrings every now and then too

6. Crown (Netflix)

This one is a new development. It tells the story of the queen across the pond like you have never seen before. Talk about a history lesson and a juicy one at that! I can't wait to finish this one myself.

Happy bingeing!

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.
