If you’re looking for a new show to binge watch… look no further. These shows are available on Netflix.

"Fuller House"

The spin-off series to the original show "Full House" has taken over Netflix. This series shows DJ, now grown with three kids, trying to make ends meet after the tragic death of her husband. Luckily, Stephanie and Kimmy offer to help as much as possible raising her sons. Looking after her boys, she finds herself stuck in a love triangle: her first love, Steve, or her new co-worker, Matt.

"Hart of Dixie"

If you’re looking for a sweet southern show, you might want to keep looking. "Hart of Dixie' is a fast-paced show filled with some Alabama charm. City-girl Zoey Hart thought she had her life all planned out until her whole life came to a crashing halt. Instead of being one of New York City’s top doctors, she finds herself relocating to Bluebell, Alabama. Once there, she tries to win over the people’s trust all while competing with the town doctor for a share of the practice.

"Agents of Shield"

Loved "The Avengers?" Well, you will love the continuation to the movies. The show revolves around Agent Coulson building a team to find and defeat an unknown enemy. From his choices, it seems he isn’t up to the job, but as the first season progresses, you can tell Coulson knows what he is doing.

"Beauty and the Beast"

Now this is not your average Disney fairy tale. As a teen, Catherine Chandler witnessed her mother’s murder. That night she would have died too if her attackers were not killed by something that was not entirely human. Years later, Catherine becomes a police officer to help solve her mother’s murder.

"Young & Hungry"

Emily Osmet stars as Gabi, a broke chef in need of a new job. After applying to almost every place in New York City, she lands a job as a personal chef to a billionaire, Josh. Josh asks Gabi to cook a proposal dinner for his girlfriend, but things do not go as planned. Josh’s girlfriend dumps him and he ends up getting too close to Gabi.

"Once Upon a Time"

This show takes all the original fairy tales with a little bit of a twist. As Snow White and Prince Charming get married, the Evil Queen pops by for a visit. She puts a curse on the Enchanted Forest, and only a savior can break it. Snow White and Prince Charming send their only daughter, Emma, to a land without magic to save her. It is now her 23rd birthday and her son, which she gave up years ago, knocks on her door telling her that she is the daughter of Snow White. Determined to get her son back to his adopted mother, she dismisses the boy’s idea. How could she be the daughter of a child’s storybook couple?

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
