1. Hike through Corbett's Glen.

Corbett's Glen is located in Brighton, NY. It has beautiful trails that are exciting to walk through. You can even cool off in the small waterfall.

2. Picnic in Highland Park.

Summer is the perfect season for a picnic and there is no place more beautiful than Highland Park. In May, the lilacs begin to bloom and everything looks serene.

3. Walk through College Town.

Although the street is filled with streets, the atmosphere is cool enough where you don't have to buy anything. Take a stroll and people watch.

4. Explore Mount Hope Cemetery.

Rochester is home to many historic landmarks. Mt. Hope Cemetery is just one of these places. Explore the area and find the graves of famous people such as Susan B. Anthony and Frederick Douglass.

5. Bike along the Erie Canal.

The Erie Canal goes for miles. Maybe make it your summer mission to bike the entire canal. Otherwise, it's a great thing to do on a nice day!

6. Watch the sunset on Durand-Eastman Beach.


There is nothing more relaxing than watching the sun set after a long day. Bring a blanket, take some friends and spend the evening having a great time.
