Marvel's Spider-Man: Homecoming hit theaters July 7th, 2017 and it's become a summer box office hit. Set after the events in Captain America: Civil War, it follows our friendly, neighborhood Spider-Man (Tom Holland) as he tries to balance being a high school student and being a superhero. If you aren't sold on the movie yet, here are 6 reasons you should definitely see Spider-Man: Homecoming.

1. The star-studded cast

The cast is packed with stars like Robert Downey Jr, Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Gwyneth Paltrow, Tom Holland and Marisa Tomei, just to name a few. Alongside them are many up-and-comers, like Laura Harrier and Jacob Batalon, who I'm sure we'll be seeing more of in the future. With such an amazing cast, it's hard to imagine that this movie would be anything less.

2. The diversity

Along with being full of stars, the cast is also extremely diverse. Peter's friends to his mentors and his adversaries, the casting of the movie was thankfully, not whitewashed. If only other Hollywood blockbusters would do the same...

3. It's a relatable, coming-of-age story

Along with being an almost-Avenger, Peter is also a high school student. When he's not dealing with villains and crime, he's dealing with homework and his first crush, things that regular, non-superhero students like you and me have had to deal with at one time or another. It's not just another superhero movie, it's also a coming-of-age movie.

4. The new Spidey suit

Web wings (!!!!!), a spider drone, an artificial intelligence assistant, and 576 possible web-shooter combinations, all courtesy of Tony Stark, so Spider-Man's suit is ready for anything.

5. It's the best cinematic version of Spider-Man

Sorry, not sorry, Toby and Andrew. Tom Holland's Peter Parker is age appropriate and embodies the awkward, relatable, teenage Spidey that we know and love. Since it's in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we get to see Spider-Man in action with other heroes, like Iron Man. The Marvel-Studios-backed Sony movie also has the support of the MCU franchise, giving it another leg-up on the other cinematic Spideys. If you don't believe me that this will be the best one, check out the Rotten Tomatoes scores.

6. It's Spider-Man.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is set to be one of the biggest movies of the summer, and for good reason, especially since it earned $117 million for its opening weekend, making it the third highest of the year. But if you're still on the fence, check out the trailers for the movie, and I'm sure you'll change your mind. So make sure you go see Peter Parker battle high school by day and crime by night at a theater near you, you won't regret it!

Sorority

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
