It's almost winter, and even if it weren't, cuddle season is every season. But how much does your boyfriend appreciate your cuddling skills? When was the last time he complimented how well you spooned, or let him, spoon you? Yeah. Never happens.

So here are a few reasons your blanket is so much better than your boyfriend.

1. It doesn't complain when your hair is in it's face.

Let's face it. Your boyfriend is never going to be accepting of your luscious locks... it's a fact. But do you know who will always love your hair? Your blanket! There's static friction for a reason: love between your curlicues and your favorite blanket!

2. It's always up for cuddling.

How many times have you asked, pleaded, even begged your boyfriend to cuddle? One too many times, I'd say. Just remember that your blanket is always up for a little cuddle sesh. Doesn't matter what time it is, if your feet are cold or if you shaved your legs. Your blanket will always receive you with open arms, ready to make you feel warm and loved in a blanket burrito!

3. It doesn't talk back.

There will never be unnecessary feedback from your blanket. Who cares if your feet are cold? Why does it matter if you're hogging the blankets? Blanket's actually want to cuddle!

4. It's always waiting for you to come home.

Unlike your boyfriend, your blanket has nothing better to do than wait for you to return to it. It will always miss you and if it could send you a sweet text, it would! It loves you that much.

5. It doesn't complain when you move too much.

Do you move constantly in your sleep or just in general? It's okay. Unlike your boyfriend, your blanket loves that. Just means it can wrap you up a little tighter and love you a little more.

6. It doesn't get jealous when you have more than one.

It's not considered cheating if you only cuddle. With blankets, that is. You cannot cuddle with another boy and expect your boyfriend to be okay with that. Blankets? They're fine with it! Go ahead and enjoy multiple blankets, they'll love you no matter what!

So remember the next time you have to beg your boyfriend for a cuddle session. You don't need him. You've got your plethora of blankets waiting to love you and keep you warm!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

winter

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
