Ballroom dancing is beautiful to watch and even more beautiful to learn. I am so happy I decided to join the ballroom dance club at my school, and if your school has one, I highly suggest you do the same. Here are some reasons why you should give ballroom dancing a shot.

1. The costumes

They are absolutely stunning. The rhinestones, the colors, and every little detail are beautiful. You'll look and feel great wearing them!

2. The beauty and grace of the dance moves

With every turn and movement you make, there is an art to it. It's magical to watch this very classy dance.

3. You'll get to feel as though you are on Dancing with the Stars

The dancers on that show know their stuff! By learning ballroom dancing, you could be the next Derek Hough or Cheryl Burke. You won't until you try it out!

4. The friends you make

You'll make a ton of friends with the people who dance with you and if you decide to compete, you'll be friendly with the people at the competitions. Especially if you go to many competitions, you'll begin to see the same people and develop friendships with them.

5. Competitions

Speaking of competitions, if you join ballroom you have the opportunity to get in some friendly competition. If you're really great, you'll place and get to move up to the next level, which only improves your ballroom dancing skills.

6. You'll feel so proud of yourself after you perfect each move

Ballroom dancing isn't easy, but once you get the hang of it, it will be a blast! It's fun to learn new dance moves to add to a routine or even if you wanted to dance for fun!

Sorority

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
