"Harry Potter" holds a huge place in many hearts. "Harry Potter" is so well known so chances are you have seen or read some or all of the "Harry Potter" movies and books. If you have not, then I would do so ASAP because you haven't fully lived yet.

The "Harry Potter" series is one of the few series that actually had pretty accurate movies as well. This was very much appreciated and did not go unnoticed. J.K. Rowling helped with the movies to make sure her vision was being brought to life correctly.

Although the series has already been written and finished, it will never be forgotten.

Here are some reasons why "Harry Potter" will never die:

1. Good reviews

I have yet to meet a person who has read the "Harry Potter" series and disliked it; "Harry Potter" is a global phenomenon. Just because the series may be over, does not mean the praise is. People will rave about "Harry Potter" for years and years to come.

2. It's timeless

As the universe gets older, "Harry Potter" will never get old. The idea of magic, witches and wizards will forever be intriguing. The world that J.K. Rowling created is easy to picture (even without the movies) and it is for the most part likable (you know, when Voldemort isn't yelling out the Avada Kadavra spell).

3. Our generation grew up with it

If you are in your early adulthood or late teens, you probably remember when "Harry Potter" was coming out. You probably remember how much you wished you were Harry, or how much you wished you were old enough to go to the movie premiere. It is a part of our childhood. Even if you aren't a fan you have heard of it and most likely remember the hype it got and deserves. We also grew up with the actors who played the characters.

4. ABC Family (Freeform now????)

ABC Family (now called freeform but let's be honest who calls it that ) runs "Harry Potter" marathons quite regularly. These weekends and days are the best days of a "Harry Potter" fan's life. "Harry Potter" is one of those series that you can watch over and over again and not get tired of it. Also, they are the creators of the hashtag #HarryPotterForever.

5. Harry Potter World has got our backs

Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida has an amazing Harry Potter park that keeps getting better with time. The visuals are stunning in this park and the rides are so fun. There is no way one would be able to forget this part of Universal Studios.

6. THE INTERNET

The internet will forever have endless Harry Potter websites, merchandise and memes. You can even stream the books and movies from online (legally guys). Also, the cast and J.K. Rowling on Twitter always have interesting things to say about the cast and always stay true to their Harry Potter roots.

The transition into adulthood is never easy

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
