If you have ever had an experience where you were having an awesome day, wearing your favorite tennis shoes, and all of a sudden they somehow got soaked, this article is for you. The day was going great until you had to deal with wet socks. The day after that happened to me, I got me some Chacos. Best decision I’ve ever made? Probably. Did I get a little too excited when they came in the mail? Definitely.

1. Chacos are meant to go on adventures.

My first pair made me want to go explore every single day. They are perfect for any occasion… literally. I wore them to my senior prom and was the comfiest person there, hands down.

2. Chacos last forever.

I have had at least a year long relationship with each pair of Chacos I have had. That’s commitment. Anytime I bought a new pair was simply because they had better styles than before. They could’ve lasted two.

3. Chacos.com lets you replace certain pieces.

Did you wear out the sole of the shoe? You can replace it instead of getting a whole new pair of Chacos. Did your dog eat your straps? Replace just the straps! That happened to me, and my experience with the customer service was amazing. They even got returned to me super fast!

4. Chacos can be custom made.

You get to design your own style, color, and pattern all online! This is great if you just can’t decide on one certain look.

5. Chaco tans.

Whether you wear them tightened, or loose, you are bound to get some pretty awesome tan lines.

6. Free stickers.

What’s better? I really don’t know. On the website, hover over the explore button, and click the stickers button.. you’re welcome.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
