6 Reasons Why I'm Getting Married Young

Things sometimes just fall into place.

6 Reasons Why I'm Getting Married Young

1. I want to experience life with my other half.

People are always saying not to settle down too fast because there is a lot of life to live, but when you find someone you love more than almost anything, you want to experience everything life has to offer with them by your side. When you find someone who makes grocery shopping comical and a simple trip to dinner and a movie an adventure, you no longer want to do things alone.

2. Life is too short to worry about people's opinions.

When you get engaged young, you get looks of disbelief and questions like, "are you sure?" Granted, some people are just trying to look out for you, but if the two people were not sure, I don't believe that one would have popped the question and the other would have said yes. People are going to say, "You haven't been together long enough to know if you're right for each other," or, "You need to wait until your older," but my reply to this is cliche but true because, 'when you know, you know.'

3. Because I feel like it is God's plan.

Life can throw you in every direction at any point in your life. Sometimes you feel like nothing is going right and then there are times when everything is going right. When you find someone who is there for you through it all, it reminds you that God has a plan and a purpose. When you are going through a trial and you question why it is happening to you, God answers your question every time. Some trials we go through are to show us who is always going to be there to hold our hand through it all which is exactly what your husband or wife does.

4. We get to share more milestones.

You get to make some of your first adult purchases together and share the memories that come along with it. You might not be able to afford much, but whether you get a small one bedroom apartment or a huge mansion together, you are just happy that it is yours.

5. We get to share success.

When they succeed, you succeed too. Regardless of the reward or benefits that you receive from their success, you are equally as happy for them as they are. You want to see each other succeed so you do everything you can to help them and motivate them. Having this support system is a blessing.

6. Because we are in love!

As cliche and corny as this is, it is completely relevant. When you find someone who you want to talk to every free second you have it is an amazing experience. When saying goodbye gets harder and harder each time, you know that you love them. When you simply enjoy laying on the couch watching cartoons or movies, you know that they love you for you. So what if you are young! When you find someone who makes the good times better and the hard times easier, you have found your forever.

Well all those fundraisers and marketing should would be a waste then wouldn't they?

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.
