As the warm seasons of spring and summer, of shorts and tanks, say their farewells, a chilly wind begins to blow bringing in Fall and Winter-In my opinion, the absolute best seasons ever. Not only because of colder days with sweaters and scarves, but also because of the merriment of the seasons.

1. Holidays

As soon as Fall hits, the best holidays of the year fall one after the other from Halloween to Thanks Giving to Christmas all the way to New Years. With these holidays, of course, comes no school!

2. Friends and Family

During the Holidays, Friends and Family are always around to make the special time even better.

3. Food

The oven, pantry, and fridge are always stocked with delicious food such as candy, turkey, holiday cookies, and more. Of course, restaraunts and coffee shops always modify their menus as well adding a little pumpkin spice or peppermint somewhere.

4. Decorations

it's always wonderful to spend the evening putting up decorations in order to make your house the scariest or the brightest. Of course, admiring others' decorations is an even better way to spend the time.

5. Shopping

From Black Friday to Cyber Monday, shopping is always a priority during the holiday season. For, presents are almost always a necessity and the need to bundle up is a must. Out are the flip flops, shorts, and tanks. In comes boots, leggings, and snowman themed sweaters.

6. The Beautiful Outdoors

Insects slowly disappear and the pollen count rapidly diminishes. What does this mean? Colder weather, falling leaves, and hopefully snow! All the necessities for a beautiful day and amazing pictures.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
