6 Reasons Why Oliver Queen Is Bae

Oliver Queen, (aka The Green Arrow) from the movie "The Green Arrow" is some serious crime fighting eye-candy. He wasn't always the hero we've come to know and love, but know, he's almost irresistible. Putting aside the fact that he's in danger like all the time, here are some reasons why Oliver Queen is the ultimate bae.

1. He's incredibly attractive.

I know looks aren't everything, but just look at him. He's fit, he's got the broody/pouty thing down, and he saves Star City all while managing to look like a Calvin Klein model. Plus his tattoos and scars just seem to add to his hotness.

2. He is the Ultimate Candidate for Character Development.

Oliver Queen was the ultimate bad boy, he slept around, partied hard, and didn't care... But after coming home from being through literal Hell (or technically purgatory) he changed. In fact, Oliver Queen and his alter ego the Green Arrow have changed a lot. His love for his city, his family and friends, and Felicity have made Oliver a better man and hero. He's strayed from his partying days and his terrifying torture techniques to become a good man, who just happens to be a hero on the side.

3. His Love for his Sister, Thea.

You can tell a lot about a man by the way he treats the women in his family. Oliver would do anything for Thea. He's loving, protective, and supportive. He let her become a part of Team Arrow because he sees just how valuable his sister is. Oliver and Thea have been through a lot together, but in the end, they've just become closer. If a man who loves his sister isn't bae material, I don't know what is.

4. His Relationship with Diggle.

John Diggle was the first person Oliver revealed his other identity to, making him the first member of Team Arrow. Diggle started off as Oliver's bodyguard but is now more like a brother to Oliver. They've had their ups and downs, but if anyone can get through to Oliver, it's Diggle. This friendship is a sign of Oliver's loyalty, and who wouldn't want a loyal man?

5. He's Dedicated his Life to Saving his City

And probably, subsequently the world. At first, Oliver used torture and death threats to get what he wanted, but after becoming the Green Arrow, he focuses more on protecting and saving than killing. Along with his team, the Green Arrow does everything they can to save Star City from all kinds of villains. I don't know about the rest of you, but I'd be pretty happy with a man who's saved countless lives and could like protect me from almost anything.

6. His Love for Felicity

One of the few downsides to Oliver Queen is that he's (sorta) unavailable. I started rooting for Oliver and Felicity the moment he walked into her cubicle with a bullet-ridden laptop. It took them a few seasons to finally see that they were perfect for each other, but when they did, I cried. Oliver loves Felicity more than anything or anyone. He hasn't always been perfect, but everything he's done, he's done to protect her. His love and loyalty to Felicity is the kind every girl dreams of having.

So there it is, six reasons why Oliver Queen is the ultimate bae. His life might be a little (or a lot) dangerous, but a little danger is always fun. Plus, Oliver Queen is gorgeous, loyal, protective, and just plain bad ass. Next time you're on Netflix looking for something to watch, pick "The Green Arrow" and fall in love with Oliver Queen, you won't regret it.

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

"I don't want to do things. I want to do not things."

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.
