1. This one day a year is the shopping equivalent to the Purge.
If you haven't seen the movie you may not understand the reference, but it's not a compliment. Plot summary: you can kill (purge) without any consequences during this one night every year. Sounds terrifying, right?
2. The so called 'discounts' aren't real.
Most of the time the discounts or savings you'll receive on items are the same as they were last year. Or better yet.. they bumped up the price months ago and are now giving you a discounted number that was the original cost before. Sneaky bastards.
3. Frequent Black Friday shoppers are scary.
You'll know who I am referring to when they walk in with an accordion file of coupons and clippings that they spent the past 72 hours putting together just for this one day. They have gifts on their mind and money in their pockets, and there is nothing stopping them from total domination.
4. I think this gif is a reason in itself:
5. Because if you aren't Ironman or dressed in similar protection gear.. you could get injured.
6. Is it honestly worth being that materialistic?!
If your friends and family care more about your gifts then your actually presence this holiday season then you're missing out on the true meaning of time during these festivities.
