6 Reasons Why I Love To Go Grocery Shopping
WordPress

As a kid, many of us hate to go grocery shopping with our parents or grandparents. I know I did. The whole idea of just trailing behind my mom as she roamed the various aisles and debated between two products and then ended up not getting them just did not interest me at all. Now, I am the complete opposite and I have turned into my mom. Here are ten things that I love about grocery shopping.

1. Roaming Around

I love just walking around and browsing at everything.

2. Looking At Literally Every Product In The Store.

I could spend hours in a grocery store looking at products and trying to figure what the best ones are, if there are good reviews, or if there are any new products that I want to try. It is ironic how I would through a tantrum if my mom did this when I was little but not I do it.

3. It's a Getaway

Honestly, if I am feeling stressed or bored I go to the grocery store. It is so relaxing and calming to me. My time to just not really think about anything and just get things I need or sometimes things I just want. I never think of going to the grocery store as something I have to do. I want to go. I really enjoy it.

4. Getting To Choose My Foods.

I LOVE having the power and control over getting to choose my own foods and what I buy at the store. I like being able to buy healthy foods and then when I am being bad and buy ice cream I can't get mad at anyone but myself when I feel sick because I ate the whole thing in one sitting. It's great.

5. Getting Good Deals

There is nothing better than getting a good deal and saving money on food and products at a grocery store. Buy one get one free? HELL YEA!

6. It's Something To Do.

Time can go by so quickly when grocery shopping. Trust me I have spent so much more time in a grocery store than I thought until I looked at the time on my phone. Just like that, an hour had gone by so fast.

Grocery shopping can be seen as a chore or as a casual fun experience. You make it what you want.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter
morethanwheels

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
