We all know how crazy the internet is about cats, but in my every day life I find more people are in love with dogs. As a crazy cat momma of three, the need to explain why cats are the best is truly my calling. After all, they told me I had too. (Please laugh.) Here are 6 reasons cats are the best.

1.) They are so cute!

There is nothing as a adorable as watching the little babies being curious and in essence just being a cat. I enjoy nothing more than ogling over how cute their fur and overall features are. Plus how can you deny that this lil midget kitty is just adorable!

2.) They can be so cuddly!

Most cats love to cuddle! You wanna take a nap? I'm sure your cat is down to lay on top of your chest duration. I mean cats sleep up to eighteen (18) hours a day so it only makes sense that they would be a big friend of cuddling.

3.) They can be so sassy!

Cats need their personal space. Because they are so cute and cuddly we just grab them up and force our love. Don't get me wrong they love us, but we humans are annoying. Therefore we get their sassy side.

4.) They are so curious.

They are easily intrigued at almost everything. *crinkles paper* Cat goes into sniff mode. *Drags string* Watches intently. In a way their curiosity makes them smarter. They are constantly learning new things. Although as the old saying goes, "curiosity killed the cat."

5.) THEY'RE SO FLUFFY!

Now we all know all cats aren't overly fluffy, heck some have no fur at all. This one is for the lovers of the fluff. Cats bathe all day erry day! That's probably why most cats keep a beautiful and healthy coat. Some cats need a little help from a friend, and that's ok. They cant help their fluffiness.

6.) They genuinely love you.

Despite the intimidating front cats put on, they really do love their humans. From the minute you wake up, until the very second you sleep, your cat wants to be with you. They actually get separation anxiety from you leaving. It breaks my little cat loving heart to think about these babies being sad when I leave.

In the end you are going to have your own opinions on which animals are the best. I find cats to be very intriguing creatures with personalities bigger than most people I know. I can not imagine life without my three turd heads. They make me smile. They make me laugh. Above all they make me whole. Spoken just like a true crazy cat lady. (haha?) As strange as it sounds, they are my children and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Stay fluffy and cuddly my friends. Life is too short not to enjoy it!

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
