If you haven’t had the pleasure of realizing that Netflix has turned to trash, and Hulu is the new way to stream TV and movies, you’re missing out on an absolute gem that’ll have you hooked for a few weeks.

"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" is by far one of the most underrated TV comedies that you will hook you as soon as you finish the first few episodes. You’re actually in luck, too; if you subscribe to Hulu right now, you can catch some of the most recent episodes to be airing every week, as they are currently in season five.

Here are the six reasons you should start binge-watching "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" now. So, in the famous, scarcely uttered words by Captain Holt:

1. The actors are so spot on, it's scary

The characters in the show are absolutely complex and wonderfully portrayed by the actors and actresses that are portraying them. The show has a few big name actors that everyone has heard of and a few actors that are in just about everything but have finally cracked a big role and nailed it.

Stephanie Beatriz, Chelsea Peretti, and Melissa Fumero are the three women that will encase a character that just about any woman can relate to, and they’re all powerfully compelling.

Terry Crews, Andre Braugher, and Andy Samberg will either have every guy wanting to run through a brick wall, crack up laughing so hard they can’t breathe, or just proud to be a man.

Andy Samberg is the laughing factory. Terry Crews will fire you up to do any job you think you may be able to do. And, Andre Braugher will make you realize that being a man is a lot more complex than just eating bacon, shooting guns, and being a womanizer. He holds himself to such a high class you can’t help but love him, even if you are homophobic. You’ll understand what I mean when you watch the show.

2. There is a perfect blend of action and comedy

It’s a freaking detective show that has a mass amount of comedy; there is so much action going on throughout the entire series. The comedic reliefs are amplified to a higher extent and more frequent occasions, but they’re delicately planned and implemented. You’ll love the mix between the action and the comedy.

It’s the perfect sitcom for anyone who loves "Law and Order SVU," "The Office," and "Parks and Recreation." This show is 100% for you. Trust me. You won’t regret the number of hours you’ll spend binging this show before you go to sleep at night.

3. Peralta… ‘Nuff said

4. Captain Holt is one of the most influential and relatable characters ever

Relatability is the most astounding aspect of Captain Holt. I’ve never related to someone so much whose demographic is so opposite of myself. The founder of the African-American Gay and Lesbian New York City Policeman’s Association is definitely the polar opposite of myself, a white heterosexual male; but still, I find myself rooting for Captain Raymond Holt to do the right thing and to continue the progression of his career forward.

Who doesn’t want to see an openly gay captain who defied all the odds to become a police captain be successful? I know, for sure, that I do!

He’s more manly than most heterosexual men that I know. He stakes his claim, stands up for what he believes in, and is arguably the most empowering character I’ve ever watched. His dignity and integrity is constantly intact and he has a sort of Ron Swanson hint to him.

It’s quite a wonderful dynamic that any viewer will come to love and appreciate the little moments when the serious captain begins to joke around and have some “serious” fun with Peralta and the rest of the precinct.

5. Every episode has at least five things you’ll die laughing at

Every single episode they have aired either has you in drastic suspense or your side is splitting from laughing so hard and so often. Most nights when I finish my binge for the night and head to bed, I can’t help but feel my face muscles tightening because of how much I was smiling and laughing at the craziness of the Nine-Nine family. They really are a family, too.

Their dynamic will have you feeling so many different emotions throughout each episode. It’s so addicting that if you have enough time to binge watch, it won’t take long to fly through all five seasons and then wait in angst every week for the new episodes to come out on Hulu.

6. There is an overall story plot that keeps diehard watchers interested but doesn’t turn away new watchers

The story plot is so subtle, yet so compelling that it won’t turn anyone off, yet it will keep everyone hooked on finding out what happens next.

If you’ve ever watched Family Guy, you’ll know that every episode stands alone and can be watched in one sitting to understand everything going on. However, it also has no overall season plot to keep you interested. Brooklyn Nine-Nine is the absolute opposite of this.

Every episode has a clear focused plot that can be consumed in one sitting for new viewers, but still has hidden things that diehard fans will catch and adore when they discover it.

It’s the perfect show for everyone’s interests. I still swear that you could get the most opposite of people in a room together and all of them will end up walking away loving this underrated TV sitcom.

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo
