Before Loyola, I never really heard much about Baltimore. It just fell under the category of "oh, just some city." Because against NYC, what does it have? What makes it special? What makes it different? But, my time at Loyola answered those questions. Exploring the city, I realized how special it is. How different and unique it is. I'm happy to call this special city my home. Because it's not "just another city.
1. Coffeeshops
An atmosphere I fell in love with in Baltimore. And there are so many #loveit. Each one is so different, offering a different feeling when you go. Oh, and the coffee is just, just incredible. That dirty iced chai tea though, will make you go back again. And again.
2. Papermoon Diner
This place is great. A place you won't find outside of Baltimore. It's exquisite. And the decorations? They're super weird and I absolutely love it. This restaurant begs one question. Breakfast for dinner, anyone? #ThoseWafflesThough.
3. Monster Mini Golf
Little monsters. Big monsters. Unless you're short like me, than even the little ones might be big too! And glow in the dark. What's not to love?
4. Duck Pin Bowling.
For us short people, it's great. The holes in the bowling balls fit our small hands. And we have more control. #ShortAintSoBad.
5. Skyline.
Remember the 1950s? The industrial past of Baltimore? Because it's pretty special. To look at Baltimore's skyline and see part of its past. A reminder of how the city changed. How it evolved and its beauty in that journey.
6. Charm City Cakes.
Remember Duffy? And the rest of the staff? The famous Ace of Cakes food network show is home to Baltimore. The city where there's never-ending tasty food!
Baltimore is't called the Charm City by coincidence.
