Not everyone has enough time to come up with an awesome, hand made, time-consuming Halloween costume. And some people are invited to that costume party last minute. So how do you make a top-notch Halloween costume that still impresses when you're really crunched for time? Here are a few ideas that can be thrown together extremely quickly.
1. Greaser Costume
A leather jacket would help here, but the only thing you really need is a plain tee, jeans, and some hair product. The thing that really completes this costume, though, is the attitude and an unbreakable comb to run through your hair.
2. Teenage Angst
Have an old band shirt lying around? All you need for this costume is eyeliner and your attitude from 2007. Optional gear includes a beanie, Tripp pants, headphones, and facial piercings.
3. Greek
Ah, the toga. With just a bedsheet and a few safety pins or clever knots, you can become a Grecian goddess, a frat boy, or anything that has to do with the ancient Western world. Favorites include Diana, Socrates, and John Belushi.
4. Regina George
This one is a go-to if you have a tank top that you don't care about ruining. Regina George is from the comedy "Mean Girls," and the costume is instantly recognizable, hilarious, and super easy to do.
5. Trash
This costume is easy and hilarious. Cut off the bottom of a draw string trash bag, and customize to a comfortable length. Extra junk glued to the outside is optional.
6. Ozzy Osbourne
Pay homage to this spooky rocker by dressing up as him for Halloween! All you need is an all-black outfit, a cross necklace, and some funky round sunglasses. You're all set!
There are tons of options for Halloween costumes, even if you're going to be late to the party and still have no idea what you're going to wear. Try one of these and get laughs and recognition of what you're dressed up as! Happy Halloween!
