We've all been there before especially as we get older. Friends come into our lives for such a time, then it's time to say "see ya later" as they go and pursue their careers after college. There is no easy way to say "see ya later," and honestly, I HATE IT, but it is inevitable and we must say these simple yet bittersweet three words. So, here are a few quotes to help out with that process.

1. "How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard."

2. "You and I will meet again when we're least expecting it, one day in some far off place, I will recognize your face, I won't say goodbye my friend, for you and I will meet again."

3. "Goodbye always makes my throat hurt."

4. "Goodbyes are not forever, are not the end; it simply means I'll miss you until we meet again."

5. "Good friends are like stars. You don't always see them, but you know they are always there."

6. "True friends don't say good-bye, they just take extended leaves of absences from each other."

While saying goodbye, see ya later, and all the other sad words with the same meanings are difficult we find comfort in the fact that one day we will see each other again. We get to catch up with one another and we are able to find out what successes we've all gotten.

Dedicated to my friend and co-worker: Shelby Leigh. Good luck in your career sweet friend.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
