You can't pass up a mouth-watering breakfast that STILL gives you time to hit the snooze button. And you don't have to with these 4 recipes that can be made in 8 minutes or less!
A Green Smoothie
For a refreshing, five-minute breakfast on the go, opt for a smoothie. Green smoothies are a great way to get your veggies in, without all the hassle of cooking them. I prefer spinach because it goes well with almost any flavor and can create a not too sweet smoothie. But if you're trying to kick your sweet tooth, adding cacao powder or vanilla protein can be a great way to achieve a sweeter smoothie, that still goes well with spinach!
My go-to smoothie recipe below:
1 small banana or half a large one
1 tablespoon peanut or almond butter
1 handful of ice
2 handfuls of spinach or mixed greens
1/2 cup almond milk (depending on your preferred consistency)
Optional: Add peanut butter granola or oats for a thicker, and more filling smoothie
Add everything & blend!
