Lush Cosmetics has recently become extremely popular due to all of their different bath bombs. However, Lush has so many great products for everyone of both genders for any skin type, and extends even to shower essentials and make up. Some other cool things about Lush is that they don't test on animals, they give free unlimited samples of their products and if you return five clean pots, you get a free face mask! So if you've been looking for new additions to your skincare or beauty routine here are six products to try from Lush.

(Author's Note: most of the products in this article will be geared towards normal to oily skin since those are the products I use for myself.)

1. Herbalism, Face and Body Cleanser

This was the first product I ever tried from Lush over two years ago and is still one of my favorite products to this day. Like all of Lush's products, Herbalism is made with all fresh ingredients (or their safe synthetic!), is vegan and the featured ingredient is ground almonds. This product is perfect for anyone who has extra oils in their skin and needs help reducing blemishes or acne. You can purchase Herbalism here.

2. Angels on Bare Skin, Face and Body Cleanser

In a world that is obsessed with the highlighted look, Angels on Bare Skin exfoliates and gives your skin a natural glow. Just after a few days of use, people began complimenting me on how good and glowy my skin looked. Similar to Herbalism, the ingredients in this product help to balance the oils in the skin and soothe any redness. You can purchase Angels on Bare Skin here.

3. Vanishing Cream Moisturizer

I don't know what voodoo magic Lush went through to create this product, but this is the greatest moisturizer and face product I have ever used. If you have troubled skin, using this moisturizer literally makes your blemishes vanish. It smells great, is lightweight and has rose water as the featured ingredient. You can purchase Vanishing Cream Moisturizer here.

4. Tea Tree Water Toner

While I don't typically use toners (even though I should), when I used the Tea Tree Water, there was definitely a noticeable difference. This toner helps reduce redness, balance oils and reduce blemishes. Paired with the Angels on Bare Skin cleanser, this toner will definitely have your face glowing from miles away. Toners in general also help remove any excess makeup that gets stuck in your pores and causes breakouts. You can purchase Tea Tree Water Toner here.

5. Jersey Bounce Shampoo

If you're anything like me and love big hair, this shampoo gives you the extra volume you're looking for. This shampoo has two different types of sea salt in it to guarantee that your hair will have so much extra volume. With honey and organic eggs to help condition and soften, your hair will be healthy and ready to go with just one wash. You can purchase Jersey Bounce Shampoo here.

6. Veganese Conditioner

While I don't have thin hair like this product is recommended for, I still love this conditioner. It is light and pairs well with all of Lush's shampoos for this reason because it doesn't weigh down your hair. It promotes lemon oil as the main ingredient to give your hair even more shine and gives the product a great smell. You can purchase Veganese Conditioner here.

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate
Mental Floss

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."
