If you're anything like me, you spend a lot of your free time in the summer with your furry best friend by your side. I love taking my dog on adventures and I'm always looking for new places for us to explore. Here are 6 places to take your dog this summer in Massachusetts. I know I'll be checking them out!

1. Stodder's Neck

Stodder's Neck is a must visit dog park in Hingham, MA. This dog park has plenty of lush green grass for playful pups to run around on off leash. Dogs also have access to sandy beaches and water giving them the opportunity to cook off after lots of playing.

2. Castle Island

Castle Island is located in South Boston, MA. This park is great for people and pups of all kinds. Dogs are required to stay on leash but this beautiful park has lots of space to walk around as well as beaches, a playground, a fishing peer and lots of good food.

3. Sheepfold

This dog park located in Stoneham, MA is lots of fun for dogs of all sizes. Inside the dog park dogs can romp around off leash and have the opportunity to play with lots of other dogs. There are also some trails to explore on leash surrounding this dog park.

4. Polka Dog Bakery

After spending a day strolling around Boston, MA with your pup you have to stop at one of the Polka Dog Bakery locations grab a treat! The best part is your pup can go inside and pick it out themselves. It's like walking into doggy heaven with the vast selection of treats. Lots of them are homemade too!

5. Purgatory Chasm

This reservation in Sutton, MA is a great place to adventure with your pup. It includes lots of chasms, rocks, slopes and trails making it the ultimate hike to take with your dog. Dogs must stay on-leash but that won't stop them from having a great time exploring purgatory.

6. Blue Hills

Blue Hills Reservation stretches from Quincy, Ma to Dedham, MA and Milton, MA to Randolph, MA. All around it is over 7,000 acres. This includes lots of trails uphill, downhill, through the woods etc. There are some beautiful spots, especially at the top.
