"But mom, Lizzie McGuire wore this exact outfit."

Whether you were a preteen raiding your sister's closet or a super trendy college student, we all had the outfits we wanted, no, needed ten years ago. Luckily, most of these outfits are making major comebacks, so if you're a hoarder--or if your mom forced you to keep that expensive dress you begged for--you're in luck!

1. The pink dress from "My Date With The President's Daughter"

First things first, this was THE dress. No one could ever find a pink velvet dress on this one's level, but we all tried. Luckily, the velvet slip dress is back in style and we can all still live out our dreams of living in the White House and going out with Will Friedle. Because, obviously, the dress was the only thing in our way.

And, of course, you wanted the matching pinball ring to tie it all together.

2. Britney's All Jean Errything Outfit

Just further proof that we are currently back in 2002, you most likely tried to rock the 100% denim look like Britney and Justin. Even Katy Perry is still trying to capture their same je ne sais quoi.

3. All things "Lizzie McGuire"

The pink non-jeans with the crown T-shirt and bandana headband: Iconic.

Also, Lizzie was way before her time with the double, half-up-half-down, buns. Miranda, not so much, but we still love her.

4. The matching sweat suits

This was the pinnacle of fashion. It was today's equivalent of wearing workout clothes but much trendier. If you didn't have one or didn't steal your older sister's, were you even an awkward teenager?

5. The tank over a T-shirt

There was no practical reason for needing to wear two shirts during the summer but if you had to endure some pit stains and heat flashes for the sake of fashion, you were doing it. You know why? Because Jennifer Anniston does no wrong.

6. Just this outfit entirely

The skirt over the jeans, the multiple shirts, the inspiring "Dream" on the outer shirt, the haircut and the keyboard purse were all a thing of dreams. In retrospect, this outfit was a type of Wear Everything You Own, a la Joey from "Friends" style. And while jean everything, velvet dresses, and tanks over t-shirts are making a comeback, it might be safe to say this outfit will stay strictly in our early 2000's wish list.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
