Brooke Davis is one of television's most dynamic characters. Throughout the nine seasons of One Tree Hill B Davis will make you cry, laugh, become angry, more confident, and overall give you hope. In all honesty, it was this character that made me continue to watch episode after episode. It is silly to say, but I learned so much from the popular to powerful Brooke Davis.

1. Do not let a boy interfere with a friendship.

Brooke had her fair share of guys come into her life. After fighting over Lucas Scott over and over again, Brooke and Peyton Swayer still had the best BFF relationship. She taught us that it is our friendships that make us who we are and without our girls we would have no one to grow with. #ChicksBeforeD**ks

2. What people say about you does not define you.

All through high school and her adult life B Davis had to deal with so much of people's bull crap. But what did she do? She proved them wrong. She showed us that people are always going to say and do crappy things to you. But the moment you get back on your feet and prove them wrong is the moment you become something that they will not be. No matter what someone said it did not stop her from being president of student government, improving her grades, and starting her own clothing line. She really did it all.

3. When you're young you are going to make a lot of mistakes, and that's OK.

B Davis was the crazy, hot, popular cheerleader who got around. She had fun but made mistakes. The point is, is that no matter what the mistake is you will learn from it. Learn to not give someone another chance or that throwing big parties won't always numb the pain. She showed us how making many mistakes at a wrong age can improve you as an adult.

4. Be that IT girl.

Brooke always showed her full potential. She knew she had "it". She also knew every girl does. She was sweet and promiscuous, talented and silly, powerful and fun. Every girl has the full ability to be the best she can ever be. Nothing ever stopped Brooke and nothing should stop you. Do not ever give up. Because remember, one for someone you're going to be "it".

5. There is someone out there for you. But you just have to wait.

You watch Brooke fall in love with multiple guys who just do not compare to how great she is. In reality that is just every women out there. Brooke grows after each relationship to become what Julian needs. They both need each other. Watching Brooke deal with guys after each season was exhausting. But when the time was right Julian came into the picture and they lived happily ever after.

"People who are meant to be together always find a way to each other."

6. No matter what life throws at you, you will always find a way through it.

I've never seen a character deal with so much bull crap in her life. Brooke seemed to always have a lot going against her, whether it was her mother, clothes over bros, friends, boys, wanting a family, drama, and someone breaking into the store and beating her up, she found a way through it. She showed us that nothing should stop us from reaching our goals or stop us from just being happy. A happy Brooke Davis is the happy we all deserve to be. "There's a day when you realize that you're not just a survivor, you're a warrior. You're tougher than anything (life) throws your way."

"Someone once said: 'It's the good girls who keep the diaries. The bad girls who never have time.' Me I just wanna live a life I'm gonna remember. Even if I don't write it down."

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.

One Book Made Me Question Existence In Its Entirety

"The Stranger" by Albert Campus touches upon many heavy elements... but not in the way you expect. Although it touches upon the aspects of death and love, it also deals with a hidden philosophy similar to that of nihilism.

The story follows the short life events of Meursault, a Frenchman whose carelessness for his actions eventually ends him in jail and dependent on a jury of people to judge the ethicality of his decision and the punishment that he deserves. He eventually gets the death penalty and all throughout he is nonchalant and almost apathetic towards his situation. He finally snaps when the prison sends a priest to him to absolve him of his sins and to cajole him in confessing to the lord.
